About me

My name is Raeeka (Rye-ee-ka) Yassaie, I use she/they pronounds.

I’m a parent, writer, yoga teacher, imperfect activist, and Takeover Manager at abcdyogi, an online community uplifting South Asian yoga and mindfulness practitioners.

I am a British-Iranian based in Hertfordshire, in the UK. My work centres yoga as a practice of collective and personal liberation and I focus on embracing yoga’s roots, activism for a better (and liveable) world, as well as exploring and celebrating my own Zoroastrian and Sufi roots.

I write about liberation for us all. You will find my musings largely over on instagram and patreon.
